Lord, when I take time to recognize what I have to be thankful for, I realize that your goodness is all around me. When I am feeling overwhelmed, I can practice counting my blessings. The biggest blessing I have is your presence.

May the joy of your presence awaken me to life and do your goodness in and around me. I know that you are the giver of all good gifts: today I will be on the lookout for them, knowing that nothing is too big or too small for you.
