Today's word for thought is Compassion.

How can you be a more compassionate person?

1 Corinthians 9:22 (KJV)

22 To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.

Psalm 51:1 (KJV)

1 Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: According unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.

2 Corinthians 1:3 (KJV)

3 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;

Father of compassion, you are the source of all comfort. You are so kind and patient towards me. Even when I have what feels like nothing to offer, you so willingly drove near with your unfailing love. In my weakness, you don't turn away from me.

In the same way, help me not to run away from weakness I see in others: I want to be like you, lavish loving knows you have nothing to offer me. Thank you for loving better than anyone I've ever known or can imagine.

So I ask again how can you be a more compassionate person?
