Do you truly believe that God will never leave you?

Today's word for thought is abandonment.

Deuteronomy 31:8 (KJV}

8 And the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.

Psalm 37:28 (KJV)

28   For the LORD loveth judgment, And forsaketh not his saints; They are preserved for ever: But the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.

John 14:18–19 (KJV)

18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. 19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.

God, you say over and over in your Word that you will not leave me. Give me eyes to see when I feel alone. Let my heart know your nearness when I cry out to you. You never turn away from those who need you, and oh, how I Need you!

I will cling to the truth that your ever present help is at hand, especially when I've reached the end of my rope. Today, may the comfort of your presence melt away every fear and lead me into love.

So i ask again do you truly beleive that God will never leave you? Other people may abandon you in your time of need but God will never leave you.
